Mobile Property Management Solutions for Commercial Real Estate
BE’s Inspections Manager

Building Engines today announced significant enhancements to its Inspections Manager that advance what is already the most feature-rich mobile inspections solution available for building and facility management. Included in the most recent update is the ability to generate work orders from an inspection, and link to building and equipment records. The BE Mobile Inspections module already allows for the capture on inline photos to enhance the data and results.

Building Engines users can leverage new and powerful mobile technology to complete inspections by downloading the BE Mobile App from the Apple, Android or Blackberry stores for use on smartphones or tablets.

The easy to use Inspection Editor moves the process of creating, deploying and reporting on inspections online and is the first to directly integrate with work order management. The module eliminates paper-based inspections and managing the issues associated with them, by allowing users to initiate work orders while carrying out inspections and to connect work orders with regularly scheduled inspections. In contrast to other systems that use preventive maintenance to stand in for inspection requirements or offer stand-alone solutions that are disconnected from work order management and preventive maintenance systems, Building Engines seamlessly integrates the features that enable managers to ensure that follow-up work is completed.

Enhancement continues with an upcoming Q1 release that includes scoring to evaluate a set of buildings across inspections criteria, expanded summary reporting, pre-packaged inspection kits that provide maintenance teams with best practice inspection lists by property type, and a deeper integration with the rest of the Building Engines Property and Tenant Management Platform.

“There has been long-standing need for a comprehensive mobile inspections tool for commercial real estate professionals. We developed our inspections platform as a direct response to industry feedback and then vetted them during extensive client and prospect focus group research to ensure that our tool is the most usable, complete and powerful solution on the market.”
